Colleges are offering short term technical programs for adults wishing to go back to school, change career or improve their skills. These programs are called AEC (Attestation d’études collégiales – Attestation of Collegial Studies).

AEC programs come in different duration and schedules, depending on the program and the college offering them. They are managed by the Colleges’ Continuing Education Services.

An AEC is a certification intended to acquire skills and knowledge in order to enter the labour market or for career advancement.
